A LATE 19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL SILVER BOX, of shaped oval form, the hinged cover embossed with a side profile portrait of an 18th Century Lady, worn gilt interior, bears import marks for Samuel Boyce Landeck, Sheffield 1897, length 7cm x depth 5.5cm x height 2.2cm, approximate weight 2.2ozt, 69 grams, together with a late Victorian silver rectangular trinket box, embossed decoration, polished through in several places, makers mark indistinct, Birmingham 1891, length 11cm, approximate weight 2.6ozt, 81 grams (2) (condition: rectangular box has many holes and a worn gilt interior)
