Poignant Royal Navy WW2 Casualty grouping for a father & son. Group 1) 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal for P/KX 150619 Guy Gordon Malliband STK 1st Class HM Submarine Porpoise Died 16/1/1945. (N.14) Grampus Class, sunk by Japanese Aircraft 19th Jan 1945, the last HM Submarine lost to enemy action. Son of Fred & Rose of Cleethorpes, Lincs. On the Portsmouth Memorial. With box of issue addressed to his mother. 2) Royal Naval Reserve LSM GVI (332 E.U. F.Mallibrand ENGN RNR) with original LSGC Award letter dated 23/2/1942, Died 4th August 1940 HM Trawler Marsona mined and sunk of Cromarty, Scotland, husband of Rose, on the Lowestoft Naval Memorial.
