A Sevres Chateau des Tuileries ormolu mounted tazza, 19th century, the well painted with a courting couple below the crowned monogram of for Louis Philippe, King of the French (1830-1848) surrounded by floral reserves and gilt decoration to a bleu celeste ground, set to a cast floral and foliate gilt brass stand with twin scroll handles and acanthus leaf legs joined by floral swags, printed maker's marks to base, 15.5cm high, 27cm diameter
The piece shows surface wear and rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout. The bleu celeste ground shows some speckling. The underside shows dirt and some staining across the surface. The ormolu mount shows some pitting and tarnishing.
