A pair of Chinese yellow ground double-walled moonflasks, bianhu, Daoguang marks, 19th century, each pierced to the central peach shaped reserve and enamelled in pink, the reverse blue within lotus flower scrolling leaf and tendril yellow ground borders, turquoise glazed applied handles to the shoulder, iron red six character seal marks, 24.5cm high

One of the rims has very high quality restoration, both with typical minor glaze imperfections, otherwise in good condition with no chips or cracks detected.
