(understandable wear around edges and rather roughly opened at one end) initially sent registered from Singapore (FPO 32) to the "O.C. 2/15th Punjab Regt., Malaya" with Straits KGVI 10c(2)+2c+1c (all except 1c with faults) tied by a fine Indian "FPO/No.32" Singapore cds with "INDIAN GENERAL HOSPITAL" oval and rare yellow "[FPO32]" (in m/s) regd. label; then redirected when received at Kuching with label and stamps on reverse; Sarawak 15c(2)+4c+1c all tied by a fine very rare 2-ring Kuching Indian "F.P.O. 50C" cds (only a few recorded; all for Sept./Oct. 1941) with very rare yellow "R.L./FPO-50-C" (in m/s) regd. label and triangular purple "No.3099" Kuching censor.
