A STUNNING ANTIQUE WALNUT SERPENTINE SHAPED SIDE POD LADY’S WORK BOX TABLE, the shaped top is hinged and when lifted reveals a compartmented interior with beautifully carved fretwork lids to the left & right, to the underside of the table top is an inset mirror & to the centre lots of storage space. All raised on a pair of ‘pod’ supports with fluted graduated columns & scrolling acanthus leaf carved detail united by a single carved & turned bar stretcher, all resting on scrolling feet. A really beautifully crafted piece. 72.5cm tall x 63cm wide x 42cm deep.
