Provenance: London, Asscher and Welker, 1951; Private Collection, Dorset * In private communication with the current vendor, the attribution to Heda has been accepted tentatively by Dr. Fred Meijer who observes that certain elements (such as the fruit on the salver) may be repaint or the work of another artist.
