Medals (3) of 31522 Gunner Charles George Phillips R.G.A. 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal 1914-1920, and Allied Victory Medal 1914-1918. A resident of Cowes, Isle of Wight. Enlisted on 18th December 1907 into the Coast Artillery Branch of the Royal Regiment of Artillery admitting prior service in the 1st Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry. Served with the 33rd Company Royal Garrison Artillery. Transferred to 55th Company RGA on 11th September 1909, then 29th Company RGA on 15th October 1913 and 11th Company RGA on 7th November 1913. Joined 91st Heavy Battery RGA on 15th December 1914. Landed in Salonika on 27th June 1915. Discharged on 17th December 1919.
