A late Victorian silver and enamel combination calendar vesta case, Lawrence Emanuel, Birmingham 1890, hinged side revealing day wheel, the hinged top having enamel calendar, opening to reveal gilt interior, the reverse enamelled and inscribed 'Thos. H. Thwaites Sharples Nr. Bolton, length 6cm.
Condition - general wear including exterior marks slightly rubbed, light scratches, loss to enamel at side of back, calendar “day” mechanism is in full working order.
