AN 18TH CENTURY SILVER SALVER. of shaped circular outline, with a husk & scroll border and raised on three scroll feet, engraved with the Arms of a widow to the centre, the reverse with scratch-weight, initialled "S*T" and dated 1757, struck four times with an overstriking makers mark only; 11.2" (28.5cm) diameter; 27.9ozt.
General wear, some black pitting marks to the centre, one or two very minor dents & scratches, but a nice gauge of silver & quality.
