** The artist was born Louis Freeman, he was a Scottish artist of Jewish origin and started his artistic career at the age of forty four, his work was admired and collected by the likes of Jean Dubuffet and Pablo Picasso and is generally accepted to be in the forefront of 20th-century outsider art.
The work appears to be in good order and there are no damages or tears, it has reasonably good colour throughout and is contained within a plain black card mount and outer cream coloured wooden frame, the work is under glass.
