£1,300
Good quality 20th century triple fusee chiming longcase clock, the substantial movement playing on a nest of eight graduated bells and five gongs, with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, the 9.25" foliate engraved arched dial with 8" silvered chapter ring enclosing a painted marine battle engagement, with Westminster/eight bells and strike/silent selection levers at three and nine o'clock, also with a moon phase to the arch, the case with narrow beaded moulded rounded arched door and the hood surmounted by a caddy top with four turned wooden and one brass urn finial, 87" high (pendulum and keys)
This clock is in generally very good condition but of no great age, probably Edwardian or later, the back board looks like it is made of pine, the mahogany case is generally in good condition but there are cracks to the veneer on the front of the caddy top, this is a fusee spring driven clock so there are no weights, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible
