Shipwreck Photographs An elevated port bow view, taken from the cliffs, of the three masted sailing ship 'Alexander Yeats', aground at Treen Cove, 25th September 1896, Gibson and F.E. Gibson stamp to verso, 23cm x 28.5cm; The grounded three masted ship 'Horsa', aground at Bread and Cheese Cove, St. Martins, sank later on the 5th April 1893, Gibson stamp to verso, 23cm x 28.5cm; A photograph showing sheer-legs form a temporary crane at St. Martins Quay, as the Liverpool salvage steamer Hyaena lands a boiler from the wreck of the 'ss.Zelda', 24cm x 30.5cm; With four other large photographs including an ariel view of the wreck of the Cypriot 'Poleire' and an unidentified scene by Gibson.
