SL White Rabbit, from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland - Pelham Puppets SL Range, solid head, red features, felt ears, small composite hands with closed fingers, metal strip knee joints, string above knees, wearing an orange smock with red hearts, white felt trousers, white felt feet, boxed, late 1940's/early 1950's Gill Leaper was a master carver who went to work Pelham in 1949. His heads were outstanding with close attention to the feature details. Unfortunately he died in a road accident in 1957
