Paul MOUNT (1922-2009) Geometric Form  Sculpture, plaster on board 56 x 12 x 7cm Provenance - The John and Gunni Crowther estate.

There are a number of areas of conditional issue on this piece. The bottom right corner and the top left corner in particular display slight bumping and paint loss. The back of the piece, on the right hand side, has an area 9x4cm in size where the layer of paper mounted to the piece has torn away. There is a weakness to the base of the piece, to the left of the centre between the middle and second relief from the left. This weakness could be rectified by mounting the piece. The two indentations at both ends of the work appear to be what the piece has once hung from, and do not compromise the strength of the piece.
