1934 Talbot Darracq 75 Sports Saloon
Registration number BOB 610
Chassis number 34900
Engine number BA1312
Silver and blue with a blue leather interior
With coachwork by Darracq it is thought to be just 1 of 5 examples
Originally ordered by the British Ambassador to Spain but was never delivered
The car was on the Talbot stand at the 1934 Motor Show where it was aquired by a Birmingham Talbot dealer
It was bought in 1936 by a Mr Steed and remained in his family until 2009
History file with a good number of receipts, in particular a vast amount spent in 2012 on an engine rebuild by Formhalls Vintage & Racing Ltd, Fordingbridge, and a charming early monochrome photograph of the car
From a deceased estate, some re-commissioning will probably be needed as the car has not been run for some time
