Obverse: type 3 left-facing bust wearing a wreath of laurels with 'VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:' with the artist's initials close to the toothed border and complete rose to drapery. Reverse: type D obverse with toothed border, seated Britannia with trident and shied, a lighthouse to left and sailing ship to the right. 'ONE PENNY' above and date (1860) below. Edge: plain. Weight: 9.17g. Diameter: 30.8mm. Mintage: 505,300 (total annual). Grade: UNC - Uncirculated with much original lustre.
