Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1891, Jubilee bust left, angled J.E.B. on truncation for engraver Joseph Edgar Boehm, toothed border surrounding both sides, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms, within Order of the Garter, French garter mott o HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, date either side of St George and dragon at bottom, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF (S.3924; Bull 2776; ESC.724). Minimal obverse surface marks, otherwise uncirculated with original mint bloom. The key year in the Jubilee halfcrown series, scarce.
