Silver tray raised on three feet (trivet), with large coat of arms for the 'Trelawny' family to centre depicting a shield and lion with the motto 'Sermoni Consona Facta', hallmarked 'WP, London 1753' (William Peaston), diameter 26cm approx., weight 17.2oz. approx., The Trelawny family were well known in Cornwall. One of the family was also the Governor of Jamaica. around 1750.
