A Pair of Qajar Pottery Vases with Blue Bird and Floral Motifs, 19th Century.
A pair of Persian Qajar pottery vases, each hand-painted in vivid cobalt and turquoise blue against a white-glazed ground. The rounded bodies taper to narrow necks with flared rims, and both are decorated with birds in mid-flight amidst stylized floral foliage. One vase is adorned with vertical blue panels on the neck, while the other features a continuous landscape of birds and blossoms.
