WW1 Military Medal and 1914-15 Star trio to 8476 Sjt W.H. Fowden Lan Fus (11/Lan Fus on MM, Pte on Star) nearly very fine. William Henry Fowden's was announced in the London Gazette dated 28th July 1917. He was also mentioned in Haig's Dispatches in London Gazette dated 4th January 1917. He was taken POW by the Germans at Steerwerch on 11th April 1918 serving with 11th Bn, from Manchester. With copied research. (See photo) (R)
