AN 18TH CENTURY PAINTED PINE 'WALL' SETTLE, WEST COUNTRY/WELSH, CIRCA 1750-1800. Having an open back, one flat round-ended arm on a facetted front upright, and slab-end, the single seat board on two trestle board supports, the other end left open, with no arm, presumably to go against a wall, 124cm wide, 106cm high, 34cm deep.
