Royal Engineers Officers Home Service Pattern Blue Cloth Helmet circa 1901-14. A good examplel with gilt peak edging, crosspiece, spike top, chinchain and rosettes. Gilt Royal Arms helmet plate with motto scrolls to the front. The interior with leather sweatband. The overall condition is good, but a previous owner has made ink inscription to the interior. End chin chain links absent
