A Doulton Lambeth stoneware ewer by Eliza Simmance, late 19th century, of high-handled form with a baluster foot, in brown, blue and green glaze, impressed factory marks, incised artist monogram and other marks, 23.5cm high Condition:A couple of small hairlines across the raised trailing beadwork, and one spot of glaze loss next to one bead. There is one small foot rim nibble to the edge. There is a firing crack to the interior of the spout, and some of the scrolls also have probable short firing cracks around the borders. There are a few lines of crazing to the lighter green foliage. Otherwise, generally good condition and displays very nicely.
