rectangular, watercolour on ivory, the reverend depicted seated wearing a black cassock with white square cravat, the lady depicted three-quarter length leaning on a chaise, her hair in rag curls, dressed in a white dress with wide neckline, gigot sleeves and fur stole, playing with a double strand of pearls in her hand, both mounted in rectangular gilt metal frames with bevelled glass and single loops to the back (2)
