Pair of Chinese famille rose rouleau vases, 18th or 19th Century, decorated with birds seated amidst prunus blossom over peony rock in colours, blue double circle mark to the base (one restuck at the neck, the other with a body crack), height 46cm

One vase has been damaged at the neck and re-stuck with associated cracks and small losses (see images). The other vase has a fine hair crack to the body just beneath the shoulder, running approx. 5cm vertically down the body. Another light bruise approx. 8mm x 5mm, again just beneath the shoulder. Slight wear to the enamels around the top of the neck. Some losses to the enamels on the neck around the damage.
