Provenance: This portrait was commissioned in 1927 from the artist by Dorothea, Mrs Harold Bowman Gilroy (nee Osborn) of Fingask Castle and is a copy of the early 19th Century original (whereabouts unknown). Sold with correspondence between the artist and Mrs Gilroy
