An 18th century Chinese export blue and white sparrow-beak jug and cover with moulded pomegranate finial, applied with a foliate mounted entwined strap handle, the body gilded and painted in underglaze blue with pagodas in an idyllic river landscape setting, 13 cm high to/w another similar example (missing cover) with lobed baluster body, 12 cm high, both Qianlong period (1736-1795) and a small late 19th century Japanese tripod koro and cover with cast floral finial, the globular body decorated with a cockerel, butterflies and flowers in polychrome enamels on the aventurine green ground, standing on three brass feet, 8 cm high, Meiji period (1868-1912)

The cover has a 1 cm (approx) chip, firing crack to one of the foliate mounts joining the handle to the body, the lobed example with small rim chip and footrim chip, both with wear to gilding, Japanese koro in good condition with light wear only
