Royal Navy George V Period Officer Sword A good example of the regulation pattern. The straight blade with etched decoration of a crowned GVR cypher. The reverse with a crowned fouled anchor and title Royal Navy. The forte with the cutlers details of Fenton Brothers of Sheffield. The hilt of the regulation pattern with solid guard, shageen grip and a lion head pommel. Housed in brass mounted black leather scabbard. Overall GC etching to the blade clear. Folding guard locking button to the top mount of the scabbard absent.
