± Shackleton Avro Shackleton T Mk 4 fuselage section Avro Shackleton T Mk 4 Fuselage section and flight deck "WG 511 PILOT TRAINING AIRCRAFT" Originally built as a Mk1A. Maritime Reconnaissance Aircraft,WG511 re-entered service in August 1957 to serve with the Maritime Operational Training Unit at R.A.F. Kinloss as a pilot trainer.# The flight deck and navigation suite remain fitted with much equipment . 8.5 meters approx overall length of fuselage. Height as mounted on support is 4.7m 2.5 m wide approximately Purchasers may need to comply with The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 the fuselage where visible internally and externally appears to be in good order, it is supported on steel U shaped supports and mounted on a flatbed lorry chassis, the rear axle of the chassis is visible,tyres are fitted but deflated and old,much of the exhibit is built around with timber walls and exhibition cases, all will require removal before the lot can be removed. The forward end of the supporting chassis is not currently visible and we cannot confirm if it is towable but may lift as a complete unit onto a suitable transport trailer.
