A collection of sports autographs and programmes, comprising an autograph album containing a good quantity of Rugby signatures 1950's, including South Africa 1951-52 rugby union tour of Europe team, 34 signatures including Basil Kenyon, Johnny Buchler, Hennie Muller, Hannes Brewis, Basie van Wyk, Tjol Lategan, P.W. Wessels, Chum Ochse, P. A. du Toit, Ryk van Schoor, Jakkals Keevy, W.H. Delport, Ernst Dinkelmann, etc etc, signatures in blue ink on Angel Hotel Cardiff headed paper, loosely corner mounted, corresponding manuscript list of signatures to facing leaf of album. The tour was the most successful the South African team had undertaken; the team only lost a single match. In the tests played the team beat all four Home Nations, France and the Barbarians. The only team to beat the Springboks was the invitational London Counties team. The final tour record saw 31 matches played, with South Africa winning 30 and losing just the one game; 1953–54 New Zealand rugby union touring team, 32 signatures, including Bob Scott, Bob Stuart, Kevin Skinner, Bill McCaw, Allan Elsom, Stu Freebairn, Ron Jarden, Jim Fitzgerald, John Tanner, Brian Fitzpatrick, Colin Loader, Doug Wilson, Guy Bowers, Laurie Haig, etc etc, signatures recto and verso of "Seabank Hotel" [Porthcawl] headed menu, loosely corner mounted, corresponding manuscript list of signatures to facing leaf of album; Newcastle United FC signatures c.1950-52, including Jackie Milburn, George Robledo, Bobby Cowell, Alf McMichael, Bobby Mitchell, Joe Harvey, Billy Foulkes, Ron Batty, Frank Brennan, Ronnie Simpson, Reg Davies, Stan Seymour etc, on Seabank Hotel Porthcawl headed paper, loosely corner mounted, corresponding manuscript list of signatures to facing leaf of album; plus other signatures Rugby Union including Cliff Morgan, John Kendall-Carpenter, Des O'Brien etc, some others boxing etc, oblong contemporary cloth album; together with approx. 30 assorted sports programmes 1950s and later, mainly Rugby Union internationals 1950s; plus a miniature signed cricket bat, with autographs of 12 England players 1971, including Ray Illingworth, John Edrich, Geoffrey Boycott, Basil d'Oliveira etc, plus 15 autographs Pakistan players and 7 autographs India players
