An early 20th century Japanese black lacquer and abalone rectangular jewellery box, bird and flower decoration with removable tray insert, length 30cm
All corners and edges are chipped and there is quite a bit of lacquer missing in places. The are a few small areas of missing mother of pearl and the edge of the lid is split all the way along. The feet are missing. There are all over surface scratches and wear.
