A George III mahogany secretaire chest, with finely figured crossbanded and line inlaid drawer fronts, each with pair of contemporary neo classical black and white enamel urn medallion set brass rope handles, the altered top surmounted by a George III bookcase, with cavetto cornice and enclosed by curl veneered doors inlaid with rosewood oval, 180cm h; 52 x 91cm
Interior of secretaire complete but a little scratched and untidy, lacking several of the small knobs. Cupboard - veneer shrinkage cracks and lacking part of the door bead, several of the enamel inserts cracked
