Seven cockade fans of varying types, all requiring some repair: A very unusual cockade on Jenny Lind form, the shaped panels in pink, embroidered with silver sequins, height when open approx. 36cm; a marquetry feather fan, mounted on a substantial handle fitted with a cord and a silk tassel, the sticks of faux tortoiseshell, one market indistinctly “???setz…sohtz”, with chestnut brown, white and iridescent green feathers; a white painted wood example with glazed leaf, pierced with decorative patterns, and painted with various motifs, including a rabbit in profile, children on a horse, and flowers; a small basic wood example painted with a snarling lion to the recto and flowers to the verso; a half-cockade in black silk satin embroidered with silver sequins; the remaining two from Indonesia (7)
