TWO LATE VICTORIAN / EDWARDIAN SILVER TEA CADDIES, the Victorian example with plain circular pull off cover over an oval body repousse decorated with flower heads, foliage and scrolls, gilt interior, maker Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1894, height 9cm, the Edwardian caddy of cylindrical form, pull off cover with flower head embossed to the top, the body with blind oval cartouche surrounded by foliate scrolls, Deakin & Francis Ltd, Birmingham 1904, height 8cm, approximate gross weight 4.7ozt, 146 grams (2) (condition: both caddies have rubbed marks to the undersides, cylindrical caddy has a split to shoulder, both have a number of small dents)
