A Chinese Qing Dynasty, 19th century, blue and white tureen and cover, decorated with bamboo and branches of prunus blossom, overpainted with gilt and red highlights, the domed cover with ribbon and flower knop, and the raised foot with two parallel lines, unmarked, 24.5 by 15cm high.

In good condition with no major cracks or damage. Emits a good ring when tapped. There is a minor crack to the red knop / finial, and general wear and loss to the gilding and red overpaint.
