A VICTORIAN TWO-HANDLED SILVER CUP. circular form with straight sides, the body with embossed fluting, the twin angular handles and upper & lower frieze's decorated with acorns and oak leaves, raised on a spreading foot and engraved with a presentation inscription "PRESENTED BY THE OFFICERS, NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE WEST SOMERSET ROYAL YEOMANRY CAVALRY TO MR HENRY FRY IN APPRECIATION OF HIS GENEROUS HOSPITALITY DURING MANY YEARS", bearing the emblem of the regiment above the date "MAY 22ND 1886", by Martin Goldstein, London 1879; 7.1" (18.2cm) high; 28.2ozt.
General wear, main issue being the dents in the centre of the bowl protruding through to the base - nice cup and well decorated.
