A box of foreign and some GB coins, with some earlier and also interesting pieces, as well as coins with strong silver content. Most of the coins come from the 20th century, but there are a few from the 21st and 19th centuries too. Some of the coins in photos 2 & 3 include a 1935 GB crown; a Elizabeth 11 1953 coronation medallion; 1834 halfpenny in fine plus grade but maybe sometime cleaned; a George III halfpenny in VF; an 1821 St Helena halfpenny in VF; a lovely 1813 Trade and Navigation copper halfpenny token; and a 1792 Barbados penny with a touch of verdegris to part of the reverse but otherwise near EF (see last two photos). Some GB and foreign silver include a badly worn George III crown, a 1958 (F) German 5-mark coin, of which only 600,000 were minted and catalogue at more than £75 in EF; a 1961 .835 Italian silver 500 lire and two silver 5 lire coins from 1927 and ’29. There is also a 2007 set of four of the non-previous metal US Presidential coin collection featuring George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison; and even 71p in current GB coinage!
