A worksplate HAWTHORN LESLIE 2529 of 1902. From a standard gauge 0-6-0ST new to the Seaton Burn Coal Co Ltd, Seaton Burn & Dinnington Collieries, Northumberland, named BEAUMONT. Sold in April 1938 to the Hartley Main Collieries Ltd, and based at their Killingworth shed and workshops. Passed to the National Coal Board in January 1947 and scrapped on site at Killingworth in October 1951 by D. Sep. Bowran Ltd. Cast brass, 12"x7¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
