A FIRST WORLD WAR MEMORIAL PLAQUE TO THE MANCHESTER REGIMENT. A Memorial Plaque named to Jacob Young. Sgt Jacob Young served with the K.O.Y.L.I with number 882 and the 1st/6th Battalion of the Manchester Regiment with number 76985. Born in West Bromwich and Resident of East Dulwich, he was husband to Flora A. Young of 114 Dunstan's Road, East Dulwich, London. He was killed in action on the 27th September 1918 and is buried on the Somme at Grevillers Cemetery, his headstone reads 'Until the Day Break', he was 32 years old. With a photograph of the recipient. *CR slight marks to surfaces.Glue to reverse. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
