Railway. Industrial. A good collection of approx. 485, mostly black and white, 3.25" square size prints. The prints are mainly the vendor's own photographs on industrial site visits and railtours in 1973 and 1974. There are plenty of prints featuring BR diesels on trip workings on rarely photographed branches. Also there are some visits to heritage and light railways. Locations include: Cowdale Quarry Limekilns, Denton sidings and branch, BR Stanton Works branch, tracklifting at Bottesford, BSC Stanton, Middleton Towers branch, Stanton furnaces demolition, Chasewater Light Railway, Spalding station, Shakerstone Railway, Avenue Carbonisation, Ketton Cement, Thos. Hill Rotherham, Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Wirksworth station and branch, Louth station and branch, Foxfield Light Railway, Bardon Hill Quarries, NCB Annesley Colliery and many others.
