An early 19th century silk and wool work picture, Jochebed and Miriam casting Moses off along the River Nile, embroidered in coloured woollen threads, the faces and limbs painted silk, 33.5cm x 42cm, contemporary gilt frame, 54.5cm x 62.5cm overall, c. 1830
Please see attached images. Some wear to the frame, the gilding touched up, but displaying well overall. The upper margin with some perished splits. Further wear here and there. Some discolouration to the mount. Otherwise generally good.
