A 19TH CENTURY MATCHLOCK LONG GUN. With a 119 cm barrel tapering from octagonal to round with decorative cast detail, with a simple matchlock action, decoratively engraved metal mounts and fixings and suspension ring to one side with 'S' shaped hook. 148 cm overall. With a primitive bone handled knife with 37 cm blade, in a bound two-part wooden scabbard.

First a nice example with some marking and scuffing to surfaces and small areas of loss, but generally a good patina and surface.
