Seiko Bell-Matic stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, reference no. 4006-6040, serial no. 712xxx, circa 1977, circular champagne dial with applied baton markers, minute track, day/date apertures, rotating inner bezel with alarm indicator and sweep centre seconds, replacement bracelet, 39mm (requires a service - see condition report)
Box and Papers - no.
Movement - currently functioning and alarm functioning when tested at time of cataloguing, however the vendor has advised that the movement is intermittently stopping and not working and so a service will be required.
Dial - surface marks, the 'S' of the Seiko is slightly bent upwards and tarnished.
Glass - surface marks and light scratches.
Hands - surface marks.
Case - surface marks and some pitting to the case sides and edges.
Crown - adjusting correctly, not original and would benefit from a replacement.
Bracelet - later replacement, the clasp is stamped Seiko however we believe this is not a genuine Seiko bracelet - subject to personal opinion, light surface marks, wrist size 7.25'' approx (spare link).
