£60
A William IV King's Husk pattern canteen of cutlery, Aaron Hadfield, Sheffield (date letter absent) twelve-place setting, comprising twelve forks, 18cm long, and twelve knives, 21.5cm long, each with weighted silver handles and silver coloured blades and tines, complete in fitted rosewood case (at fault)
Handles show no signs of splitting or solder repair. The handles are heavily dented, and show general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, and there is some loss of definition to the cast detail. There is some minor gapping between the handle and the blades/tines. Heavy scratching and wear to the blades/tines, however no obvious splitting, thinning or repair. Moderate wear to the purple felt interior, commensurate with age and use. There is a large split to the cover (as seen in the third picture) and some splitting to the corners of the box and cover. Box shows heavy scratching and wear throughout, commensurate with age and use.
