Gibson Les Paul Deluxe electric guitar, made in USA, circa 1972, ser. no. 6xxxx6; Body: red sparkle finish top with 'John Birch Customised' logo between the bridge and stop bar, three small screws surrounding the end pin, suggesting the guitar previously had a different tailpiece installed; Neck: mahogany, a couple of dings to the back; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: mild wear; Electrics: working; Hardware: replaced jack plate, some pitting to metal hardware; Case: later Gibson hard case; Weight: 4.05kg; Overall condition: good
*Bearing a 'John Birch Customised 'decal between the stop bar and bridge, it is thought that the customisation work includes the red sparkle top and refinished back. The guitar's potentiometers date to 1971, although the embossed mini humbuckers would suggest a factory finish date of 1972
