Obverse: crowned and robed bust of Elizabeth facing left, rose behind and 'ELIZABETH D G ANG : FR · ET · HI : REGINA' around with bell mintmark. Reverse: square-topped shield of royal arms quartered by a long cross with the date above (1582), 'POSVI DEV : ADIVTOREM · MEV ·' and very clear bell mintmark around. Weight: 3.02g. Diameter: 25.4mm. Grade: VF - very minor scuffs and environmental surface damage, otherwise Very Fine.
