No.2 Duplex control, fluted glass fount, on a Corinthian column and square base, H.52.5cm; stoneware oil lamp of campana vase form, the "cover" lifting to reveal the glass fount, the brass mount inscribed "Messenger's Patent" on a circular base, H.32cm; 3 coloured glass and 2 frosted shades, each with etched floral decoration, H.19cm the tallest, and 5 glass chimneys.
