WW1 Memorial Plaque or "Death Penny" awarded to the relatives in memory of Frederick Woollard- 16704 - 3rd Northants Regiment - killed in action near Ypres Belgium on 9th May 1915 aged 23. Family have done research which is attached including a copy of a letter sent to the Vicar of Wood Ditton from Private Woollard while training at Weymouth prior to departing for the front.
