London & North Eastern Railway locomotives. A stunning and very comprehensive collection of approx. 1200, postcard size black and white prints collated over several years and housed in a hand made plywood box (with lid). Very minor duplication. The prints are sub-divided into classes in number order and feature locomotives of the London & North Eastern Railway and its constituent companies. This selection includes most/all locomotives of classes, A1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 and A2 NER "Raven". The photographs are from several commercial sources including: "Locofotos", R.Blencowe, Photomatic, A.R.Goult, P.J.Hughes, L.Hanson as well as the collator's own photographs. All the prints have comprehensive details on the reverse and are in very good condition. No copyright, sample illustrated.
